G’Day 2009 Megane Expression X84 DCI 1.9. 75000klm
There is a nylon cog assembly on the side of the EGR which has stripped slightly. I assume the valve stuck and this is a sacrificial piece.
My question is can I get away with cleaning the EGR and replacing the Nylon gear? or am I up for another bill of around 600 bucks for parts only. It’s the enemy’s car and I’m a bit over Renault after spending nearly 1500 dollars on an engine mount after 60000 klm.
