Looking for some help here.
The plug (on the wiring harness) that goes into the crankshaft sensor has broken.
Speaking to the dealer (Nissan) they say you have to buy the engine wiring harness (loom) . Cost £620.00 plus vat.
I'm sure I read somewhere that Renault offered a plug, but don't know how you would fit that on if it was available, solder I presume.
Can anyone confirm that a plug would be available, or how difficult or easy it it to fit another harness, assuming I can get a serviceable one from a breaker.
My van is stuck behind my house at the bottom of a steep narrow incline - cripes !!! - so no chance of getting it out to a garage unless it's running.
If I was to fit another harness, would it need to be programmed to the ecu ?
