:mad:Hi.
I brought a Renault clio in July. We knew it had a misfire when we purchased it, my partner works in a scrap yard and knows a lot about cars so thought he might be able to sort it.
The previous owners had a mobile mechanic come out who changed the coil pack, spark plugs and injectors but the problem was still there.
When we brought the vehicle it also had oil all over the engine and bonnet, my partner found that this was because the dip stick wasn't in properly so when the engine was running the oil was chucking out everywhere.
My partner thought that it might have been the crank shaft sensor so he changed it at the weekend, it runs a little better but is still running lumpy and misfiring. He now thinks it may be the lambda sensor but isn't 100% Please someone help!! I need my car!
TIA
