Renault megane 1.6 petrol 2003 slave cylinder problems

Hi All,

Soooo.... last week I was stationary at the top of little junction waiting to turn on to the road. The car all of a sudden stalled and was stuck in gear...engine on it would not move out of gear so I turned the engine off and put it in to neutral...no problem doing that. So left it in neutral and turned the engine back on ... the car would not go in to gear - it is a manual car. Smoke started coming out of the engine bay with the engine on and the gears in neutral. As I couldn't drive the car I got it recovered and the recovery driver advised it was the slave cylinder. Ok so being handy with the tools I have made a start at taking the gearbox off to get to the concentric slave cylinder (fluid was pouring out on the recovery truck and inspection has found it is coming from the gearbox area). Gearbox is now loose and nearly ready to come out (I have dropped the subframe at the front to remove the box this route) What I am struggling with is getting the gear linkages off!! They are being right little blighters!!! The picture below shows which ones I mean. These are the only things I can see now holding the box on. Any ideas how to get these off? Anybody got a guide with pictures of the gearbox removal? I have a printed manual bit it is a bit pants!!

Thanks
