scenic 04 1.9 dci oil dipstick leak

I've noticed recently that my car leaking oil from the bottom of the dipstick where it connects to the block, now i went to check but noticed nothing is actually holding the unit to the engine its just sitting in the hole and when i lift it it just comes out so im wondering if somethings missing which is meant to seal it in or clamp it down can anyone help before I go see the dealer
