Scenic I 2001 1.6 16v temp. problem

Hello all,

4 months ago I started using A/C on the car after long time(4-5 years).
3 months ago the car overheated because the hose was leaking.Hose was replaced with a new one, and new cooling liquid was poured.
After that water temperature goes 1/1.5 up from mid-line, and always stays there...I changed the coolant temp sensor and coolant temp trigger (am I spelling it right ?) and nothing...
Then I went to licenced renault service for help, they checked everything and I was said that temp. is normal and okay, regardless to temp gauge (1/1.5 up from mid-line).

Now I'm worrying and rarely driving my car :(
Any help or tips could help,
