Timing belt changed now A/C issue

I had the timig belt done on my '05 Scenic 1.5 DCI about two weeks ago. Since then I've noticed that my A/C isn't working at all well. Is it possible that the two events are connected or is it just coincidence? I don't want to go back to the workshop and look a fool. What do you think? Thanks in advance.
