Hi all,
The 1.9dCi Grand Scenic has been stood for a while and the battery has gone belly up. I got in with the keycard key and put a new battery on.
Now it has power, it appears it's not recognising the keycard anymore, D'oh!
None of the buttons on the card do anything, although the C/L works in manual from the internal door handles, at least that's fine.
Dash says 'insert card', I put the card in (with a new and tested keycard battery) and then says 'steering unlocked', although the steering wheel is still locked. Then it says 'press clutch or brake to start', so I do this and...nothing, no turning over, then it says 'remove card' and 'steering locked', all the while the red light on the dash is happily flashing away...I assume this is the immobiliser.
What can be done to sort this please, I need her back!
