Electrical Fault warning after TB clean and now pedal not working

I decided to clean the throttle body on the Clio today and all went OK. It wasn't that dirty but is now very clean and the car seems to respond better.

I didn't notice at first, but have just noticed the 'Electronic Fault' light is on. It's the one with the zig zag and curly line that means the heater plugs are on....except the car is not a diesel. According to the manual it also means that an electrical fault is present, presumably on petrol models too. A vague warning which could mean anything, but I assume it's engine electrical related.

I've rechecked all the connections that I took off in order to get the manifold off and they are all sound. The only two that I haven't rechecked are the connections to the throttle body, as that means getting it all off again. They clicked nicely when I put them together, so I'm sure they are fine.

I drove the car after cleaning the TB and it was fine, except for the light coming on, but just been out to check again and now the car starts and the rpm sits at 1500rpm and the there is no response to the throttle pedal. When cleaning the TB, I moved the butterfly, so has this upset something?

Any suggestions what to look for now?
