I have an f9q 1.9 dci. Intermittently, but now frequently, I have no power steering at ignition and it can take 30! starts to get the pump running.
The steering never cuts out when running.
The Stop light comes on with the injection warning light but there is no change in power. Sometimes the rev counter drops but again no change in engine sound.
I have a fault code df070 from the ecu so have replaced the camshaft sensor but the fault is exactly the same!
I was hoping that the engine speed sensor woul be the fix but oh no, lovely renault.
Do I need to look at the crankshaft sensor also, is this a job one woman and a tool kit can do (I have blocked off my EGR and changed the camshaft/engine speed sensor myself)
