Hi all
I'm new to the forum and just wondering if anyone can help me with my dilemma.
The drivers side cv joint on my 03 kangoo van is clicking so I decided to have a go at swapping out the driveshaft.
I went to euro car parts and got a new driveshaft, came home and got the wheel off to notice that the old one has no weight in the middle where as the new one does.
I know euro car parts are notorious for giving out the wrong parts but I wasn't sure if this was the case or whether the weight could be on the new one as some sort of improvement? or is there no chance that they would be different in this way?
I don't want to start taking it out if it's going to be the wrong one when I do.
As you can probably tell I'm new to diy car maintenance but I'm determined to do this job myself so any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
