Laguna Automatic

Hi,

I've just bought myself a 1999 Laguna 2 litre automatic, and it is in excellent condition, and goes very well. The only trouble is that it appears to hang on to what I think is third gear until over 60 km/h.

Can anyone guide me on the transmission fitted to these cars, how many gears they are supposed to have, and how to adjust the shift into top, if possible?
