So I've got a 2003 Laguna estate 1.9 dci. First warning sign was oil dripping from under the headlight. A bit of digging suggested it was the joint between the plastic pipe from the turbo to the intercooler.
Tightened the joint and the leak transferred to the other side.
So I diagnosed turbo death leaking oil into the intercooler.
Yesterday I removed the turbo but there was no shaft play at all, and no real evidence of oil where oil shouldn't be. What are the tell tale signs?
That's my first question, my second is if the turbo isn't putting the oil into the inlet/intercooler, what else can?
Thanks,
Gareth
