Hi all, I'm looking for some help diagnosing an issue with my 1999 Renault Clio.
I was driving it around last night for work, and all was fine, when out of nowhere the engine nose changed. It got alot louder, and alot lower too. It sounded like really heavy bass. There was alot of heat coming out of the bonnet when I opened it up too, but there were no levels below the minimum mark.
A similar thing happened to my motorbike a few years ago, but that was the downpipe blowing off my bike completely. I checked, and there was no parts under my car when this happened.
Also, is this going to be safe to drive? Because I cant get it looked at for a week, and need to get around.
