Hi everyone, i'm new here. Thanks in advance for your time/help/patience. I am having a problem with my car. It is a Renault Clio Campus 1.2 from 2007 (I think it's mk2), the engine type is D4F G7. I have been having the P0638 error for a long time, although the car never stopped, just from time to time it turned on the motor control and the limp mode lights, so it wouldn't go over 3k revs. The interesting part is that there were cases when it disappeared completely without erasing the errors, so the car would function perfectly for weeks, then in an unexpected moment it would come back for some weeks. I have already changed the throttle body for a new one (SIDAT brand), and after doing so, it was ok like for a week and a half. Now it is coming back, and it is doing some interesting things. When the car is hot (80 degrees) the idle rpm goes up to like 1500 (normally when hot it moved around 700). Then, when I push the accelerator, sometimes the revolutions stick, so they won't go back even if I push the clutch nor if I put the gear box in default (so it will not be in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, but empty). When I push the brake the revs start to fall down, but when I get off of the brake they start to go up on their own again. If I push the accelerator pedal while the car is bringing up the revs by itself, then it goes into limp mode. If I stop the car and start it again, limp mode is gone, but when i keep on driving it comes back. I am sorry if I missed some detail, please let me know if that's the case. Thank you very much.
