Hoping someone can help....
My Renault Scenic 1.6 2004 battery went flat... charged the battery and reconnected, perfectly fine....until i turned the car on :(
Parking brake warning light now showing on the dash. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the parking brake, it engages and disengages both automatically and manually... seems to be a Renault con to get me into the dealership :mad:
Have been researching to no avail. Have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery several times...with and without side lights on doors open windows down etc etc!!! Have also tried the procedure which involves holding down the manual handbrake button and pulling the lever with the door open. Still no joy.
Any one got any ideas?
