ok so my airbag deployed in my clio 172 ph2 on the passenger seat after hitting a kerb at 20mph, so got a new seat but im scared to plug it in incase the airbag goes off again as it looks like someone has fiddled with the wiring, although the airbag light wasn't on before it was deployed.
just want to make sure its all well before i connect everything up, this is the connector from the new (second hand) seat.....
and this i presume is for the pre-tensioner ect....
now, i can see that the connector from the seat goes to my black connector and the black cable to the pre-tensioner, but whats going on with the grey plug? it just has the two wires going into it then has snipped blue and brown wires at the other end. am i missing wires or has this been cut by the previous owner and does it look wired up correctly?
btw i have a new airbag ecu to go in and a passenger rear pre-tensioner as that fired too. obviously won't be plugging it all in until i have replaced the ecu. also once all this is done will my airbag light go off automatically or will i need a scan/reset tool?
sorry if this is in the wrong section but i can't post in the clio section.
