My garage have advised me that my battery is expiring and have kindly offered to replace it for £194
I'm pretty certain I can get it done cheaper or even do it myself, but searching the forums seems to suggest two schools of thought:
1) Just unplug it and swap it, it'll be fine.
2) Be sure to maintain a charge in the system so the electronics don't go belly up.
The last battery I changed was on a MKII Fiesta which didn't even have a clock so I wondered if anybody can give a firm answer about the best method to do it myself? The car is a 2007 2.0 16v Espace.
Any advice gladly accepted :d
