Hi,
I have a Megane 2 CC. It's a 57 plate so 6 and a half years old, and I have had it since November last year when I purchased it with only 5600 on the clock from the main Toyota dealer in Barnsley who had taken it in px. It had belonged to a builder who only used it at weekends as he had a works van, so he left the Megane at home in the garage during the week.
The car is stunning, and still looks and smells like brand new. You could eat your dinner off the engine it is that clean - as though it came out of the showroom yesterday.
As you would expect for such a new (older) car, it has been faultless in the 9 months I have owned it. However, a couple of weeks ago the service in xxxxx miles change to ,service due', and yesterday that changed to 'service due now'. I say 'service in five x's because it was somewhere in the teens of thousands, then suddenly nothing.
I know the service interval is so many miles or so many months, but surely it's not smart enough to know the time limit is up for the next service interval. Or is it...?
Anyone seen this before?
Cheers
Glynn
