Electronic fault

Hi, i have a renault megane II 2008 sedan. recently been expeiecing issues with instrument panel displaying electronic fault. reverse lights, cigarrete lighter not working. I decided to remove the fusebox & ecu. cleaned them with methylated spirits & found that 1 fuse is blown. reseated all & now the car won't start. it just cranks and nothing.checked all connectors. all seem ok & dry. now reverse lights works. please help anyone.
