I have a Espace type 4 and one of the rear windows seems to have a fault - happened suddenly today but was fine before that! - when I close the window the limit system seems to have failed and so when the window is up fully if you don't let go of the switch it makes a noise the same as if something stops the window moving half way.
Also when operating the switch the window only moves a few inches at a time so I have to keep pressing the switch to get the window to close or open. The other windows all seem OK.
I tried the reset options discussed on other threads by using the front switches for a general reset but this did not work. If I did that on the offending window then it would make a terrible noise so I am not going to try that unless advised by an expert to the contrary!
The window will wind fully up and down OK (albeit in a few inches at a time) and the noise only happens in the closed position - what is wrong here? and how can it be fixed? and is it a DIY or garage job? and is it expensive?
