Hi could anybody help?
I have just purchased an obd2 diagnostic tool and when I connect it to the car it will not make a connection (electronic fault appears on dash when the tool is plugged in).
The tool works on audi, merc and ford no probs.
I have checked the wiring to the obd2 socket and the k-line pin 7 does not have a voltage reading, I have read elsewhere that this should be around 3.5v
Pin, 16 is 12.30v battery live and pins 4 and 5 are ground wires continuity tested ok
So in short could somebody with a scenic 2 please check the voltage on pin 7 for me and let me have the results.
Any help would be greatly received
I have had this car for 2yrs and nothing but trouble already rebuilt engine after cam belt slip, new wishbones for mot, swapped elec handbrake to manual the list goes on
