ABS/ESP Laguna 1.9 dci

HELP!

I lost tracton briefly on the n/s front wheel and the ABS and ESP fault warning lights have come on, ive checked and cleaned the abs sensor and checked the toothed ring is still in place and all seems fine.

Has anyone got any ideas or should i just buy a new sensor (£30)??
