I have an odd problem with my 2000 Clio 1.2 MTV. As I start to pull away after starting from cold, the radio stops working comes to life approx 4 secs after I put the clutch in when coming to a stop e,g, at traffic lights. Then the radio goes off again about 4 secs after I let the clutch out. At the same time the car idles at between 1500-2000 rpm. This on/off radio- high idle continues until after about 20 mins of normal driving, when the radio will remain on regardless of whether the clutch is in or out and the idle speed returns to a more normal between 600-900 rpm. My initial guess was moisture in the wiring or chafing to the wiring harness - and indeed I found some where the wiring harness meets the bottom of the ecu's protective cage - having sorted this with loads of insulation there has been no change. Any ideas? Tks in advance.:crazy:
