I've had a look through the forum but there seems to be no obvious fix. Basically the front wipers on my wife's clio have decided to stop working. Rear still works fine and I can hear the click of a relay near glovebox. No sound at all from turning on front wipers.
Following some helpful advice here, I removed the wiper arms and scuttle panel and there were 2 swimming pools that the wiper motor was submerged in. Also the yellow 20A fuse near the battery was blown so that was replaced. All water has been removed now but still the windscreen wipers do not activate.
Before I go and pay for a new wiper motor, could it possibly be a faulty relay? If so, which one to check as none are labelled.
The car needs a new mot end of the month so any help and advice greatly appreciated.
