I have a Clio Mk II 1.2 16v which was first registered in 2005. The VIN plate says the model year is 2003. I need to get at the throttle body and actuator mechanism but it's not clear how the engine top cover is removed. It appears to be secured with a number of screws from the bottom edge, and two or three fittings that seem to use some sort of rubber washer or mounting. I'll be able to undo the screws OK, but I can't see how these rubber things come apart. I'm reluctant to just pull at them in case I break something. Unfortunately, my Haynes manual skips over this sort of detail and doesn't even have a picture of the particular engine variant that's in my car :(
There's a picture of the engine top cover and one showing one of the rubber mountings in these photos on Dropbox:-

Can anyone give me a clue how the engine top cover can be removed?
Thanks,
Mike
