2001 clio 1.2 16v expression

hi guys, i have just noticed the drivers footwell carpet is soaked with water, i have checked drainage down side of doors and seals they all seem ok, can anyone advise me as to where and how the water is getting in and how i can rectify the problem, thanx in advance
