newby here,
hi I needed to post this thread just in case it save anyone from a big bill.
my 2.5 traffic had the glow plug light and serv light stuck,
the local garage , who are great found error codes for glow plugs, the throttle potentiometer fault .
both rather costly to fix.
but to my good fortune the garage checked them with the van not running and the door open , only to find that the battery went flat after about ten mins.
so they test the battery and it was nackered, and to everyones surprise after fitting a new one the faults cleared and the lights went out.
the only reason garage could think is that with engine running there wasn't enough juice left to run the glow plugs so it threw a fault up.
if this cheap check helps anyone else i'll be happy.
good luck,
