Hi all, I could use some advice.
I changed to factory head unit on my mk1 coupe and managed to kill the front speakers (woofers only) and was going to replace them but there seems to be a mystery as to the mounting depth.
My plan is to fit some uprated woofer units and leave the factory tweeters in the dash connected, and with a rather nice looking kevlar coated woofers cheap with good spec I could really do with knowing the mounting depth so I know what I can get away with.
The kevlar units have an overall depth of 90mm or there are some standard units 85mm, are these too big?
