My name is Gary and this looked like the best place to come for help and advice for all things Renault. It is my daughter who has the Renault, a Clio which needs a bit of tlc. I won't elaborate in here but ask advice in the appropriate forums.
A bit about me, I'm 50 yr old. I learned my trade as a heavy vehicle mechanic in the Army. Left the Army and joined the Police but hated it lol. Came back to the tools and was a Manager for a local Council workshops. I now work in the Oil and Gas Industry both Offshore and Onshore at refinery's etc.
As we are on a car forum I suppose I'd better say that I drive an Audi A4 S Line, but prior to that I always had.....and I hesitate to say it......Vauxhalls, culminating in a Vectra VXR that I took down to Courtenay Sport in Norfolk and had remapped. It RRd at 305bhp and 415lbft of torque, but tbh it was dangerous because the power was too much for the crap chassis and suspension.
I'm no stranger to forums as I used to be Admin on Vectra-C.com lol.
Anyway, I look forward to picking your brains, and if I can help anybody I will. :d
