strong petrol smell inside car

Hello I recently bought a 1999 Renault scenic she was badly misfiring took it to the garage and they replaced the ignition coil pack and she runs great now but there is an extremely strong smell of petrol that got worse when I put more fuel in can't see any obvious leaks and petrol gauge is staying the same. Anyone help on what it may be. Many thanks
