Have just called at Halfords and picked up some oil which they have an offer, 5/40 fully synthetic (RNO 700/710 spec).
I've been using this grade for a while with no issues, but having called at my local motor factors for a filter because Halfords didnt have one, I was informed that I should be using a more expensive low ash formula (which I believe is RNO 720??)
Can someone please clear this up for me as I've been using the cheaper version with no issues upto now, but dont want to keep using it if it is likely to cause me problems in the future?
