hey guys. I have posted with this issue before for my car. Its an MOT failure on emissions. My vehicle is a laguna mk2 1.8 and again this year it has failed. I fitted a new cat 18 months ago, replaced nearly all the sensors, had engine management checked and finally managed to get it under the emissions level. My garage are again saying is probably the cat. He also says the dephaser pulley is knackered and could be causing over fuelling destroying cats in the process. Could this item be causing the emissions to be high and killing my cats? There is a definite loud tapping from that side of the engine. Thanks for looking and hope somebody can help point me in the right direction.
