I have a Renault Megane Mk III 1.5d 2010 and we recently had one new tyre on the rear and when I left the garage the orange spanner light and ESP light came on after just a mile away from the garge and then on the way home it went off again. Since then it has intermittently been coming on and then going off at different times and for different lengths. Sometimes we can go for a whole journey without it come on. There is no change in the steering etc and it is the same as it was before. The car drives perfectly and we have also had new front brake discs and pads on the vehicle and a full service and it all passed the MOT.
Why is the ESP light and spanner coming on at random times? Would the changing of the tyre have affected it?
