As of late ive got an issue with my 2005 renault megane. I went shopping one day, returned to the car and it would not start.
Had RAC have a look as roadside assistance, he done some initial tests but could not diagnose the issue. The car registers the key card/fob (indicated by the dash illuminating, steering locking opening and when i remove tge key it says no key detected). However when i press the start button nothing happens. No fault indication, no trying to start, nothing. He tried push starting it and even toe starting it, but to no avail.
We had an autoelectrician do a diagnostics test, which suggested we had a key issue. However this yields the same results on a second key. Any help would be appreciated.
