Megan the Megane 3's first detail..

Recently sold my Ford Focus and picked this Megane 3 up from a family member. So far the car drives lovely and has many many more toys than my Focus did!

Shes a Megane 3 1.5 DCI 106 Privilege.
All factory so far except the wheels which are 16" Rial Murago alloys.

Toys include Automatic Wipers & Lights, Climate Control, Sun Roof, Rear Glass Roof, Rear Parking Sensors, Speed Limiter, Cruise Control, Half Leather Interior, Keyless Entry & Push Button Start, Rial Aftermarket Alloys, Bluetooth as standard. Think that's all.

She has recently had a new engine (long story), new clutch and a huge clean lol.

I do have a few plans for her, but nothing too major. I'll update this thread as and when anything new comes about though. Anyway...

So today I spent around 6 hours detailing the exterior.

Although I've done the same process as below on several previous cars, this was the Meganes first proper clean since she was new, some 6 years ago.

Bit of an Autoglym detail this time round haha.
Washed with a woolly mammoth mitt and Megs shampoo.
De-tarred with Autoglym's Tar Temover.. Although some stubborn bits remain..
Clayed with megs clay and Autoglym's Rapid Detailer as lube.
Washed and shampooed again, then dried.
Polished using Autoglym's Super Resin Polish and Autoglym's polishing pads.
Finally I applied Autoglym's Super Gloss Protection to the bodywork and wheels using a microfiber.
The trim was dressed in Autoglym's Bumper and Trim Gel and applied using an Autoglym polishing pad. Buffed slightly with a microfiber.
Windows and glass roof cleaned using Autoglyms glass cleaner.
Finally the tyres were dressed with Autoglym's Tyre Shine.
Overall I think she turned out ok. Would like to try and get the 'wet look' next time around though!
