Traffic 2 / primastar airbag light after crash

Hi I have bought a primastar van 2003 same as the traffic 2. It had a small bump and all pre tensioners replaced the guy I bought it from had wired the outer passenger seat to the middle seat pretensior wire but the middle pretensior wire isn't connected in he has it cut and joined. I got it put on diagnostics today to clear it but it won't clear. There is also new airbag fitted. I read something about the airbag ECU needing replaced after a crash. Anyone shed any light on this ? Thanks
