Help! My new (to me) 2002 Clio wont turn over.
When I put the key in the immobiliser light goes into a quick flash, and wont stop flashing.
After a deep look at these forums I found a trick to get it started, but its not a solution. By pressing the lock/unlock button on the key it will turn the immobiliser light off, and the car will start perfectly.
I'm totally confused by this, and cant figure out what may be the problem? Unfortunately I don't have a spare key to try either.
The car's battery recently went flat due to lack of use, and it was charged prior to me purchasing the car. Don't know if this may be related?
