'63 plate Scenic Grand in for a scuttle leak (soaked foot wells). Investigation by the dealer has discovered blocked drains and damaged wiper motors, yet alone the smelly interior.
The dealer is saying this isn't covered by warranty and my lease company is saying it is a driver issue as the drains should be kept clear.
Considering there was no debris visible on/in the plastic scuttle grille under the bonnet and you can't get at the drains without dismantling the grilles/ wipers/ wheel arch (which I wouldn't be able to do- all servicing needs to be undertaken by trained mechanics) I'm prepared to fight both as this seems to be a design fault.
What has anyone else to say on the matter?
