Hi, I bought a new car recently, it had a flat battery at time of pick up, we had to connect 2x strong booster packs in order to get it started. I drove it home 40miles parked up and the next day it wont start again. I went out and got a new battery and still would not start, I checked the battery voltage and it came up as 11.20v so I took it back and got a new battery, battery voltage was 12.6v before installing, after putting it in the car it droped to 12.44v, checked again a while later and it dropped to 12.20v....so it doesnt get drained anymore, I disconnected the battery leads...
What can be causing this? also the when I do a voltage check on the leads connected to the terminals, it shows around the 9v mark, is this normal?
