Hi all,
My wife is having some issues with a 03 plate 1.2 Clio (manual)
In work away so can only go on how she is describing it.
When she turns the key it makes what she described as a high pitch grinding noise and doesn't start. Great I thought, starter motor gone. £100 fitted at the local garage yesterday.
Today she has messaged saying it made a noise again and failed to start! But this time it sounded like something was clunking as well
Just as a bit of additional info, we have had the car 2 years and it has alway made a sound when pulling away for the first time every trip, it sounds like one of them toy cars you pull back and let go (spring and gear unwinding) but deeper in tone,louder and lasts about a second or 2
What are your thoughts?
