hi all, firstly my appologies for making my first post a request for help :( but the wifes car has just developed a problem whilst on her way to collect her mother for a hospital appointment tomorrow :(......
its a ren scenic2 1.5 dci... all has been fine for the last 2 months shes had it ,,she loves it, i loathe it !! this mornng without any warning as she was driving she heard a click wich she assumed was the central locking ... but 2 seconds later, the wipers came on, the headlights are on , al the lights on the dash are on, the engine fan is on.. and nothing will switch off !!! the engine is still runnning perfectly... so after a frantic call from the wife i arrive on the scene to a very unhappy bunny... i managed to stall the car as it refused to turn off. i then re inserted key card and it starts perfectly,, but the handbrake now wont release, and the wipers are back on and lights too... and yet again it wont switch off !!! the elctric windows arent working either.... i have warning messages on the dash, and stop lights on.... ive managed to get the handbrake too release, and get it home,, drove fine all be it with people gawping cos the suns shining and ive got the wipers goin like mad lol... any help would be great at this point...any clues from anyone??? thanks in advance guys....:)
