I have a major issue with a 98 2.0 Megane Scenic, steering got locked on a couple of weeks ago which in turn caused ignition barrel to lock, since then I've drilled out old barrel, replacing it with a new barrel purchased from eBay. It's a coded key/immobiliser/transponder effort & car doesn't start. I swapped new key over to remote key. Other issue is when I turn the ignition there's no power going to dashboard, I've checked the 3 main fuses in engine bay for continuity & they're fine, can't afford Renault dealership & would need towing anyway. Please someone HELP!!! close to scrapping the excuse for a car as other typical issues pending such as auto gearbox keeps changing down when driven although can live with that if vehicle was running, I ask again please help!!! I've seen Mike**** seems to know these vehicles extremely well, hopefully someone has some reasonable advice , cheers, Danny
