Problem with electronic handbrake? Pictures and CLIP fault codes included!

Picked up a 2004 Scenic 1.6 16V Expression Automatic on Tuesday:forehead::forehead::forehead:. It was cheap, low mileage and fairly clean inside and out.

Only issue with the car is the common 'Parking Brake Fault' displayed on the dash.

I was searching Google and found that there was a DVSA recognised common fault with this model which was recalled.

It says "The parking brake may apply without input from the driver as a result of a programming error." and advises that the electronic parking brake computer should be reprogrammed. I didn't think that this was causing my issue, although I was interested to see if it had been carried out on my vehicle during it's prior ownership. So I called my local Renault dealers and spoke to the grumpiest, most abusive Service Manager I have ever come across. I explained my situation and he basically told me I was an idiot, that there was no such fault and that I should go and bother someone else before hanging up on me!

So.......I decided I would bother his boss instead ;)

Long story short, as a goodwill gesture (after a strongly worded e-mail) I was asked to bring my car in to have it checked over free of charge to have the fault diagnosed.

True to the General Managers word, the minute I dropped the car off it was taken in to be inspected, and an hour later I received a call to give me the verdict.

They had found the area under the passenger seat had suffered from water ingress and advised me that the multi connector would likely be damaged due to corrossion.

I was given this, and promptly sent on my way. Fair enough.

After looking under the seat I could see that the insulation and carpet was soaking, so I'm going to remove the seat and get it all dried out today then try and find the source (scuttle panel?). I also managed to get a picture of the following.

Which leads me to my question. How do I go about getting those wires back in, and how do I know which one goes where? Either that or will there also be a multi plug at the other end of those broken wires so I could swap the whole lot out for a good one?

Thanks in advance for your assistance. I'm no stranger to Renaults of late, but this is the first one that's given me a headache!!
