Hi there,
I have an mk3 clio with a rusted through front radiator support subframe and to save money I have decided to replace it myself (with very little experience).
I have managed to get all of the subframe free apart from the 'quick release' tube between the bottom of the radiator and the front of the subframe. Could anyone give me any pointers on how to separate these two?
Also I haven't taken off the front splash panel (attached to the front bumper), because the nuts were too soft for me to get a grip on them. Would it be worth cutting them off and then replacing with better nuts? I'll attach some pictures below of the tube and splash panel that I'm talking about.
Thanks,
Emma
