I was wondering if anyone can help, after much consideration and frustration with my DPF filter, I have decided to go down the root of removing it. Its a renault megane 2012 coupe 1.5dci 110 FAP
I have got a quote to map out the DPF and now I have the problem that I want to keep the DPF for future sale purposes and for re-fitting when necessary. Which rules out just "hollowing" it out. I know the MOT laws and would preferably like to have it on hand if needs be.
1 ) I was just wondering is the Megane exhaust one solid piece? Or could I just replace the section where the DPF filter is with a non DPF model or get a custom pipe made?
2 ) If not can I use a full cat back system from any other megane dci? If so any links to the correct exaust would be welcome :)
3 ) If anyone has done this, how difficult a job is it to actually remove the DPF diy style ?
Thanks in advance
