Renault Laguna II 2003 1.8 & 2.0 Gearbox

Hi all,

I need to replace the gearbox on my Renault Laguna II 2003 2.0, I just wanted to ask if the gearbox on the 1.8 models are the same as the 2.0?

It's just that I have found a 1.8 used gearbox which is a lot cheaper than the 2.0 gearbox's I have seen and if possible maybe save myself a few quid.
