2009 Megane 1.5DCI Modern Model Noise

I drive this Car infrequently. When the Car is started from cold there is usually a whine for a few miles that gets louder with acceleration. i.e. if the Car is ticking over there is no whine but it comes when you accelerate. Would the Oil be draining back down out of the Turbo unit overnight and the unit running practically dry for a short time. Once you have drived a few miles the noise is gone and does not re-appear until the Car is left overnight again.



Or could it be the Power Steering or another issue.



What is causing this problem and what do I need to do to cure it. Thanks in anticipation.
