Changing oil on RX4

Hi, Im thinking about changing the engine oil and filter on my Scenic RX4, 2.0Ltr 02 Petrol. Is this an easy task or will I require and special tools.

Also, I want to check, and top up the gear box and diff, again is this something that I could do, or would that also require special tools. Any help would be appreciated.
