HELP! Renault clio 1.2 16v

Hello everyone , right whats happend basically i have a Renault clio 1.2 16v 2001 model, i was driving it fine and it ran perfect as usual i parked up, and plugged my phone into my stereo lead to play music to see if it worked or not, first time i tried it it come up error 01 on the stereo so i reset it and it worked fine after that , but after this i tried starting my engine it starts buts idols really rough between 800-1200 rpms and you can hear pooping noises in the engine and sounds like its misfiring if i rev it upto about 2500-3000 revs the light underneath the fuel gage turns on and the engine cuts out..
